The Job

Our client, a leader among the retail and corporate banks in Poland is seeking to recruit a candidate for a position of Credit Risk Director Corporate and SME Banking.


In this position you will develop credit risk strategy and credit risk management practices, set up transactional models and credit risk framework, take the responsibility for credit operations, debt restructuring and vindication. You will be also expected to liaison with regulator and audit functions on corporate and SME credit risk matters, and work with risk team and other departments to fulfill internal and external regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • at least 8 to 10 years working experience in credit risk management in the banking environment
  • possess expertise in credit risk management, including regulatory / legal knowledge in relevant jurisdictions, credit scoring, credit policies / underwriting, modeling, credit accounting, debt restructuring / vindication
  • ability to balance credit management / risk principles against clients' needs / business growth objectives; ability to think in business terms
  • very good communications and negotiating skills including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management in the language of business
  • strong analytical and problem solving skills; a personality of a leader    
  • university education in Business Management, Mathematics or other related subjects
  • very good English language; native Polish.
