The Job
Our client is one of the most important international retailing companies with over 300,000 employees operates over 2000 outlets in 30 countries in Europe, Africa and Asia. For selected countries in CEE region we are looking for an experienced Offer Management Director responsible for providing a direction to the company as a full member of the Country Board.
As a Procurement and Offer Management Director you will drive the procurement strategy based on customer demand and be responsible for strategy, management and control of the country’s Procurement, offer and merchandising commercial strategy and supplier relationships, P&L for all categories including own brands.
Requirements
- willing to relocate within European operations of client as the country destination is not set as yet
- a minimum of 10 - 15 years of offer management / procurement experience within the retail sector at senior levels, with prior experience in managing a buying team
- advanced knowledge of product and category offer and merchandising principles, methods and processes and experience in developing and realising budgets with P&L responsibility for multiple products / brands
- entrepreneurial and customer focus, excellent expertise in product sourcing and supplier management
- excellent communication and negotiation skills with understanding and applying to business specifics in other countries
- university degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management and/or related subjects
- fluency in English.
